World Head Wrappers

The purpose of the World Head Wraps Fashion Show and Concert is to raise much needed funds for the Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH) Wig Salon’s “Patient Assistance Fund”. These funds will give the Wig Salon the ability to provide a wig, hat or scarf to someone who cannot afford to purchase one as well as help to ensure the continuation of other vital patient services. Additionally, the event will raise awareness to patients and the community that these unique workshops are available.

Performances from world class artists including vocalist-guitarist Mighty Popo of Rwanda/Canada, noted jazz performer Julie Michels, the incomparable Sudanese singer- musician Waleed Abdulhameed, sensational guitarist Danny Nebiat of Eritrea and the thrilling Baby Boyz dance group of Toronto.

The School of Fashion, Ryerson University is coordinating and executing the fashion show which will feature special for-this-event creations from some of Canada’s top designers.
